Lucero (Lou) Botkin - Owner, Licensed Massage Therapist, Nail Technician
Possessing a true passion for helping others, Lou attended and graduated from Cedar Stone School of Massage in Harrisonburg, VA 5 years ago and has been a Licensed Massage Therapist ever since. Lou loves all styles and modalities of massage therapy, but two of her particular favorites include prenatal massage and Rainbath therapy. She is also trained and certified in other therapies and spa treatments such as threading, lymphatic drainage massage, body treatments, reflexology, Reiki, and more! Lou especially exceeds when it comes to customizing therapies for her clients. Whether it's your first session with Lou or your 100th, you're sure to never receive the same massage twice. Lou's goal and promise to every individual client is to provide bodywork that honors their mind, body and heart.
When she isn't melting away stress and relieving tight muscles, Lou is making memories with her loving family. She, her husband, and their children live on a farm in Augusta County. Leah Kilcup - Licensed Massage Therapist, Licensed Massage Therapist Instructor
Leah’s journey to massage therapy began when she lived overseas in Thailand. For two years, Leah studied Thai Massage under the instruction and guidance of the local practitioners. Bringing with her all the lessons and wisdom learned, Leah returned to the United States, finished her education at Cedar Stone School of Massage, and subsequently received her massage license. Leah also obtained a license to be a Massage Therapy Instructor. Immediately getting to work on educating other inspiring massage therapists, Leah began teaching at Cedar Stone. For three years, Leah mentored students in Swedish Massage, Joint Mobilization, and Shiatsu. Leah’s scope of practice includes Thai Yoga Massage, Shiatsu, and Lymphatic Drainage Therapy but she is also well-versed in Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, and several forms of hot and cold Stone Therapy. It’s no secret that Leah is extremely passionate about the positive impacts of therapeutic massage and its holistic benefits. Kimberly Williamson - Certified Massage Therapist
Kimberly is a graduate from the Shenandoah Valley School of Therapeutic Massage, class of August 2007. She received her National Certification in November of 2007. Her passion lies within Therapeutic Massage where she can help each person feel better according to their individual needs. She understands that massage is needed to promote healing of the body, and to relax the mind, body, and soul. The love she has for massage is reflected in her work. Kimberly is trained in a variety of techniques which can be mixed and matched to provide each client with the therapy they genuinely need. Whether you're in need of pain reduction, getting back to what you love doing the most, easing stress, or simply receiving the massage of a lifetime, Kimberly's goal is to have a positive impact on your health and well-being.
Connie Magee - Certified Massage Therapist
Connie Magee is a Board Certified Massage Therapist of 5 years and has passed her knowledge onto others by teaching various courses at Cedar Stone School of Massage. She excels in deep tissue therapy, Swedish massage, joint mobilization, neuromuscular therapy, Reiki, Facial and Foot Reflexology, Shiatsu, Tui Na, cranio-sacral, and meridian work. Connie is also a Sound Healer (Level 2 Certified by IASH), a yoga and meditation instructor, and teaches Shamanic healing work.
Rosemary Nuno-Roadcap - Licensed Esthetician
Rosemary knows a thing or two when it comes to esthetics. Having graduated from Blaine Beauty School (now Empire Beauty School) in Lowell, Massachusetts in May 2005 and, later, from Poway, California’s Bellus Academy in October 2014, Rosemary is more than experienced when it comes to skin. These advanced skincare programs provided Rosemary with the knowledge and skill to perform customized luxury facial treatments, chemical peels and exfoliations, hair removal methods (such as waxing and sugaring), skin disorder analysis, and other various skincare modalities. Oh, and did we mention that she’s a licensed esthetician in California, Massachusetts, AND Virginia?! With a love for all things holistic (traditional and modern), Rosemary enjoys using products and techniques that assist the skin’s innate abilities to heal naturally. For instance, Rosemary is currently using the beneficial properties of ultraviolet light to help her clients reduce acne and improve the quality of aging skin. Starting out in California, and after a few more changes in scenery, Rosemary has found her way to Virginia. Today, Rosemary, her husband, their daughter, and their four puppy-dogs call Augusta County home! Above everything, Rosemary is truly happiest when she’s spending time with her family. Destiny made her way from Richmond, Virginia to the valley when she was accepted to attend James Madison University. With a lifelong desire to help others, Destiny received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Exceptional Education. Though a proud natural hair enthusiast, artist, and educator, Destiny decided to add Makeup Artist to her repertoire as well. It wasn’t until relatively recently that Destiny became passionate about being a professional Makeup Artist, but it’s been one of her biggest dreams come true. Destiny loves everything about makeup but her absolute favorite aspect of it all? Eyebrows! From grooming, to shaping, to a flawless fill-in, Destiny couldn’t love eyebrow artistry any more if she tried! Destiny takes great pride in complementing and enhancing the beauty of others and always looks forward to meeting new clients to transform.
When she isn’t working with makeup, Destiny is shopping for makeup. It’s not unusual to find her in a Sephora, Ulta, or other cosmetic shop searching for the newest best products. But that’s not all! Katelyn Senger Hall - Licensed Cosmetologist
During her time as a high school student, Katie enrolled in the Cosmetology program at Valley Career & Technical Center in Fishersville, VA to set herself up with a promising career in the Salon and Spa Industry. Upon graduating from Fort Defiance High School and the Cosmetology program in 2015, Katie began her career as a hair stylist! Katie specializes in men’s haircuts and styles. Some of Katie’s favorite services to perform include straight-razor techniques, beard/neck shaves, and fades.
In the fall of 2017, Katie married her high school sweetheart, Justin. The newlyweds have since bought a “fixer upper” home and have been putting in the work to make it their own! Katie loves everything about home decorating and interior design. From antiquing to DIY to refurbishing old relics, Katie is a creative old soul who pours her heart into every project put in front of her.
Mandy Ruckman - Licensed Cosmetologist
Mandy grew up in Grottoes, Virginia and graduated from Spotswood High School in 2014. Eager to begin her career as a hair stylist, Mandy attended the Staunton School of Cosmetology where she learned all of the basics to make others look and feel amazing. With three years in the salon industry so far, Mandy has already gained so much more experience and absolutely loves her job! Some of Mandy’s specialties include bridal/wedding party styles, event up-do’s, and various hair coloring techniques. Mandy is especially talented when it comes to analyzing her client’s hair types and determining what looks will work best for the individual. No matter the hair service you’re looking for, Mandy can’t wait to meet you and help you feel beautiful!
In addition to performing incredible hair transformations, Mandy’s other passion is performing with a local theater group that’s based out of Staunton. If you can’t find Mandy behind the chair, you’ll probably find her on the stage. Mandy finds the strength to live this exciting, yet hectic, life in her loving family and friends – her biggest support system. However, none of these things compete for Mandy’s love and affection quite as much as her two fur babies; Jake the black lab and her kitty cat, Lucy.
